About the position

The Data Architect/Senior Engineer role in the Insurance division focuses on executing the data strategy while collaborating with business counterparts to deliver technical solutions that align with business outcomes. This hybrid position requires hands-on experience and leadership to guide teams in developing and implementing data and analytics strategies, ensuring data quality, security, and governance in a cloud-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Drive the execution of the Data Strategy for the Insurance division.
• Partner with internal customers to understand analytics and business intelligence needs.
• Lead technology activities to deliver data-driven capabilities aligned with business strategies.
• Develop and execute data and analytics technology strategies and roadmaps.
• Define and deliver data & analytics architecture and tooling for a modern cloud-based environment.
• Ensure exceptional customer experience through data access and self-service capabilities.
• Support rapid ingestion of new data and deployment of analytic models into production.
• Promote sharing and reuse of code and capabilities in a cloud-first environment.
• Champion data and analytics transformation and cloud adoption with a focus on security and data quality.
• Manage engagement across delivery teams to ensure high-quality project delivery.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with MS SQL, Data modeling, ADF, Azure ADLS, Data Bricks, and CICD as a Data lead.
• Strong team leadership with experience in building and managing high-performing teams.
• Proven ability to attract and retain talent and communicate effectively.
• Deep experience in leading data and analytics organizations in a complex multinational setting.
• History of delivering data and analytics projects on time and within budget.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in the insurance domain is preferred.
