About the position

The Azure Data Engineer - Data Fabric role focuses on designing and implementing data solutions using cloud technologies. The position requires extensive experience in data warehousing and cloud platforms, with a strong emphasis on modern data architectures and processing frameworks. The engineer will work on creating efficient data pipelines and ensuring data governance and quality across the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 8 years of experience working with on-prem or cloud data warehousing solutions like Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery.
• 5 years of hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong understanding of modern data lake architecture, medallion architecture, parquet file, JSON files, etc.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as SQL, Python or Scala.
• Experience with modern data processing frameworks such as Apache Spark, Apache Flink, or similar.
• Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and data security best practices.
• Experience in creating backend APIs is a plus.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong problem-solving and data analytics skills.
