About the position

The Sr. Azure Data Engineer with Snowflake and IoT is responsible for defining technical architecture, communicating it effectively to senior executives, and creating a roadmap for technology validation to implementation. This role involves building frameworks for industrialized implementations and requires strong problem-solving and analytical skills to refine complex data engineering architectures.

Responsibilities

• Define technical architecture and communicate it to senior executives.
• Create a roadmap from technology validation to implementation.
• Build frameworks for industrialized implementations.
• Analyze and refine complex data engineering architectures.
• Develop and optimize data processing workflows using Python, Spark, and SQL.
• Design and implement scalable and reliable data analytics solutions on the Azure platform.

Requirements

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Experience with modern data engineering tools such as Databricks and Snowflake.
• Experience with data visualization tools like PowerBI.
• Experience with data streaming and change data capture technologies (e.g., ADF).
• In-depth knowledge of Azure services including Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, Azure Storage, and Azure SQL Database.
• Proficiency in developing and optimizing data processing workflows using Python, Spark, SQL.
• Relevant certifications in Azure Data Analytics and Databricks.
