About the position

The Azure Tech Lead position is focused on leading the development and implementation of ETL processes using Azure Data Factory. The role involves ensuring data quality and accuracy, optimizing data processing performance, and maintaining data models and schemas. The position requires collaboration with various stakeholders to understand customer needs and deliver effective solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain ETL processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading using Azure Data Factory.
• Ensure data quality and accuracy while optimizing data processing performance.
• Develop and maintain data models and schemas.
• Utilize Microsoft Azure computing services such as Azure Function Apps, App Services, Logic Apps, Event Hubs, Event Grid, and API Management.
• Write SQL queries for various relational databases including Oracle and MS SQL/PL-SQL.
• Optimize database performance through query speed and scalability improvements.
• Develop and test APIs using tools like SWAGGER and POSTMAN, focusing on REST APIs.
• Plan, design, and implement complex technical and functional services and system-level designs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders including business analysts, developers, project managers, and end users to gather requirements and understand goals.
• Work with event-driven and microservices architectures.
• Utilize tools like FileZilla for file transfer protocols (SFTP).
• Gather requirements from onsite business teams and document them for offshore development teams.

Requirements

• Strong experience with Azure Data Factory for ETL processes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Azure services including Azure Function Apps, App Services, Logic Apps, Event Hubs, and API Management.
• Experience with SQL queries in relational databases such as Oracle and MS SQL/PL-SQL.
• Knowledge of database optimization techniques including query tuning and scalability.
• Familiarity with API development and testing using SWAGGER and POSTMAN.
• Experience in planning and implementing complex technical services and system-level designs.
• Ability to collaborate with various stakeholders to gather and document requirements.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with Wealth Management concepts and data types such as positions, tax lots, transactions, trades, and cash flows.
