About the position

The Azure Data Engineer role at LTIMindtree involves leveraging advanced data engineering skills to design and implement end-to-end data pipelines, focusing on Azure technologies. The position requires a strong technical background in SQL and data analysis, with a particular emphasis on working with large datasets and data warehousing concepts. The engineer will also engage in customer-facing code development and performance tuning, ensuring optimal data solutions for clients.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement end-to-end data pipelines using Azure technologies.
• Develop and review T-SQL queries for performance tuning.
• Engage in customer-facing code development.
• Analyze large volumes of datasets for insights and reporting.
• Utilize BI tools, particularly Power BI, for data visualization and reporting.
• Work with Cosmos SQL, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Data Bricks.

Requirements

• Strong technical background in SQL and SQL Server data engineering.
• Proven experience in data analysis and handling large datasets.
• In-depth knowledge of data warehousing concepts.
• Experience with BI tools, especially Power BI.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Big Data Technologies.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Kusto.
• Knowledge of ADLS (Azure Data Lake Storage).
• Familiarity with Cosmos DB.
