About the position

We are seeking an individual with over 5 years of experience as an Azure Data Engineer. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Snowflake and have a solid background in data modeling. This role requires proficiency in Python and SQL scripting, as well as experience with Azure Data Factory. The successful candidate will also have experience working with Power BI and familiarity with data lakes and Azure lake houses. Knowledge of DevOps or CI/CD practices is essential, along with a strong foundation in data modeling techniques. This position offers an opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to the development of robust data solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data solutions using Azure Data Factory and Snowflake.
• Develop and maintain data models to support business intelligence initiatives.
• Write and optimize SQL queries and Python scripts for data processing and analysis.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Utilize Power BI for data visualization and reporting purposes.
• Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the data lifecycle.
• Implement DevOps practices for continuous integration and deployment of data solutions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as an Azure Data Engineer.
• Strong experience with Snowflake and data modeling.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL scripting.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory.
• Familiarity with data lakes and Azure lake houses.
• Knowledge of DevOps or CI/CD practices.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with MS Fabric.
