Azure Data Engineer

About the position

Infosys is seeking an Azure Lead Developer. The position will primarily be responsible for interfacing with key stakeholders and applying technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements, Design, and Development. You will play an important role in creating the high-level design artifacts. You will also deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, support activities related to implementation, transition, and warranty. Responsibilities

• Interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Create high-level design artifacts.
• Deliver high quality code deliverables for a module.
• Support activities related to implementation, transition, and warranty.
• Develop Azure data solutions and implement Data Warehousing concepts.
• Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines to support continuing increases in data volume and complexity.
• Participate in design and implementation of the Data Lake and big data migration using Azure cloud as platform.

Requirements

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Tempe or Phoenix, Arizona or be willing to relocate to the area.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in Azure, ADF, PowerBi, Spark/PySpark.
• Good understanding of Azure Data Lake and Data Warehousing concepts.
• CI CD experience.
• Working knowledge of Talend ETL tool.
• Experience working closely with Health Care clients to deliver Data & Analytics projects.
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Ability to collaborate with data scientists and analysts to facilitate the availability of clean, structured data for analytical purposes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Hands-on experience in programming languages such as Python/Pyspark/Scala.
• Experience in working in Agile teams and working independently with Business stakeholders providing solutions and regular updates.
• Familiarity with data modeling and ETL tools such as Erwin, Talend, DataStage.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead large complex projects with limited direction.
