About the position

Akkodis is seeking an experienced Azure Data Engineer for a hybrid onsite role lasting 6-12 months. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in Azure Data Engineering, particularly in data ingestion within marketing platforms. This position involves designing, coding, testing, and implementing data movement pipelines and analytical assets, while collaborating with various business areas to gather requirements and deliver solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, test, and implement data movement pipelines, dashboarding, and analytical assets.
• Develop system documentation according to SAFe Agile principles and industry standards.
• Hands-on development on applications and interfaces including Azure Data Factory, Log Analytics, Databricks, Synapse, Power BI, ADLS Gen2, Google Cloud Platform Cloud storage, and Big Query.
• Assist in configuration and administration of marketing platforms such as Google Marketing platform, Salesforce MCI, and The Trade Desk ADvendio.
• Build data ingestion into and out of marketing platforms.
• Gather and implement functional and non-functional requirements including performance monitoring, alerting, and code management.
• Partner with all areas of the business to gather requirements for Data and Analytics and design solutions.
• Participate in agile ceremonies and follow agile cadence to build, test, and deliver solutions.
• Drive engagement with ITS Security and Infrastructure teams to ensure secure development and deployment of solutions.
• Interface with the Product Manager and IT partners to define and estimate features for agile teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Azure Data Engineering experience including Data Factory, Log Analytics, Databricks, Synapse, Power BI, ADLS Gen2, Google Cloud Platform Cloud storage, and Big Query.
• Experience in configuration and administration of marketing platforms such as Google Marketing platform, Salesforce MCI, and The Trade Desk.
• Data ingestion experience with marketing platforms is required.
• Ability to work onsite in Grand Rapids, MI, 3 days a week for 6-12 months.
