About the position

The Azure Data Engineer will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining the Azure-based data infrastructure for a leading healthcare company. This position focuses on building robust and scalable data pipelines to transform raw data into actionable insights, supporting clinical, operational, and strategic decision-making. The role requires collaboration with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to optimize data systems for performance and reliability, ultimately enhancing patient care through advanced analytics.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Azure-based data infrastructure.
• Build robust, scalable, and secure data pipelines.
• Transform raw data into usable insights for decision-making.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and stakeholders to optimize data systems.
• Ensure data systems support complex healthcare data needs.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with Azure PaaS/SaaS solutions.
• 5+ years of experience with NoSQL, SQL, Azure SQL, DB, PostgreSQL, CosmosDB.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory.
• Experience with ADLs.
• ETL development experience with end-to-end data pipelines.
• Experience with Data Analysis, Data warehousing, and Data Modeling.
• Proficiency in Azure DevOps and Microsoft Fabric.
• Experience with data validation, cleansing, transformation, and consolidation.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience programming with Python, C#, PowerShell.
• Experience reporting with PowerBI/Tableau.
• Exposure to Master Data Management (MDM).
