About the position

The Azure Data Integration Engineer will play a crucial role in the management and integration of data within the Azure cloud environment. This position requires a hybrid work schedule, with on-site presence expected on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays in Coral Gables. The role is structured as a 6-month contract, with the possibility of extensions based on performance and project needs. The engineer will be responsible for provisioning, configuring, managing, and monitoring various Azure services including storage accounts, key vaults, function apps, logic apps, app services, virtual machines, databases, virtual machine scale sets, and messaging services. A significant aspect of this role involves hands-on experience with Azure security and monitoring solutions such as Azure Monitor, Defender for Cloud, Application Insights, and Log Analytics Workspace. The engineer will also manage CI/CD solutions using Azure DevOps, ensuring efficient deployment and integration of applications. Designing and developing data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, ADLS, DataBricks, and other ETL solutions is a key responsibility, alongside configuring and managing high availability and disaster recovery solutions in a hybrid environment. The role requires automation of infrastructure deployment using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Bicep, ARM, and Ansible. The engineer should have hands-on experience with containerization technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, Azure Container Registry (ACR), Azure Container Instances (ACI), and container apps. Additionally, managing Azure identities and governance is essential, along with proficiency in CLI and PowerShell. Experience in migrating on-premises workloads to Azure is necessary, as well as strong programming skills in Python and other languages. A good understanding of Azure networking components, load balancing solutions, and Azure Active Directory (AAD) is also required. The engineer will provide on-call support and handle customer support tickets, troubleshooting performance and connectivity issues, and Azure resource configurations. Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric and AI knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities
