The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in data integration and will be adept at building data engineering pipelines. Additionally, this role involves mentoring and guiding junior data engineers, ensuring that the team adheres to best practices in data management and engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of data architectures for large-scale data systems.
• Build and maintain data engineering pipelines to support data integration and processing.
• Mentor and guide junior data engineers in best practices and technical skills.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver data solutions that meet business needs.
• Ensure data governance and quality standards are maintained across all data initiatives.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to present data architecture designs and project updates.

Requirements

• 15+ years of overall experience in data engineering and architecture.
• 6+ years of experience specifically in cloud data architecture, preferably on Azure.
• Strong expertise in data integration techniques and tools.
• Hands-on experience in building data engineering pipelines.
• Proven ability to mentor and guide data engineers.
• Experience with data modeling, data governance, and data quality management.
• Knowledge of data architecture patterns and best practices.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams.
