About The Position

Knowledge Management, Inc. is seeking an experienced Azure Data Solutions Engineer/Architect to design, develop, and implement scalable data solutions using Microsoft Azure data services. This role focuses on integrating cloud technologies and optimizing data workflows to drive business outcomes, requiring a deep understanding of Azure Synapse, Data Factory, Purview, and the Power Platform.

Requirements

• Active DoD SECRET clearance.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience with Microsoft Azure data services, including Synapse, Data Factory, Purview, and Power Platform.
• Bachelor's degree in operations research, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Current certification as a Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect.
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture, data governance, and security best practices.
• Proven ability to design and deploy end-to-end data solutions in Azure environments.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with government contracts or in defense-related data environments.
• Familiarity with data migration strategies and cloud modernization projects.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to new challenges in data management.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable and secure data solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform.
• Leverage Azure Synapse, Data Factory, Purview, and the Power Platform to support enterprise-wide data integration and analytics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cloud technologies and ensure data quality, governance, and compliance.
• Optimize data pipelines and workflows for efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Microsoft Azure services and best practices.
• Troubleshoot complex data-related issues and ensure high availability of cloud services.
