About the position
The Azure DevOps AI Engineer role focuses on delivering enterprise data services and solutions on Azure, particularly in the financial services sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AI infrastructure and cloud technologies, with an emphasis on building and testing pipelines. This position requires collaboration with various teams to implement secure Azure AI solutions that comply with company policies and standards.
Responsibilities
- Deliver enterprise data services and solutions on Azure.
- Collaborate with cloud engineering, network, security, and risk management teams.
- Implement and continuously improve frameworks and tools for automating AI services.
- Adopt an AIOps/MLOps mindset for managing training and production models.
- Work with internal application development teams to leverage AI services for business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements when loading data and training models into the Cloud.
- Develop and consume APIs, SDKs, and Webhooks for integration with enterprise systems and DevOps tools.
- Participate in fast-paced DevOps engineering teams within Scrum agile processes.
Requirements
- 2 years of experience as an AI and cloud platform engineer.
- 2 years of experience developing platform orchestration code using Azure Python SDK, Terraform, and GitHub Runners.
- Strong expertise in delivering Cloud Infrastructure as Code (IaC) leveraging CI/CD pipelines, Terraform, and Git Actions.
- Demonstrated knowledge of cloud provisioning and administration, cloud bursting, and disaster recovery strategies.
- Highly developed critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with deep learning and natural language models.
- Understanding of Azure security features, including data protection and RBAC.
- Ability to troubleshoot Azure, DNS, and routing issues.
