About the position

Capgemini is seeking an Azure DevOps Architect to join their team in Grand Rapids, MI or Chicago, IL. This full-time position involves reviewing and documenting existing Azure infrastructure architecture, advising clients on best practices, and designing enterprise-scale landing zones in Azure. The role requires expertise in various Azure technologies and tools, as well as the ability to present findings to both technical and executive audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Review and document existing Azure infrastructure architecture design
  • Advise client on best practices for Azure architecture design, including Hub and spoke architecture
  • Implement Microsoft's Well-Architected Framework
  • Utilize GitHub Action, ADO, Power Shell, ARM Templates, IaC - Terraform, and QA Tools Integration with CICD Pipelines
  • Configure network settings, including multi-cloud connectivity and cloud to on-prem connectivity
  • Address BCDR and high-availability requirements
  • Manage security concerns in Azure, including configuration, monitoring, and alerting
  • Develop price predictability and forecasting strategies
  • Design an enterprise scale to-be landing zone in Azure to support multiple applications
  • Build milestone-based implementation approaches and high-level implementation estimates for Azure landing zone
  • Review and document client's current CI/CD processes and tooling
  • Propose options for consolidated CI/CD and release management tooling
  • Demonstrate knowledge of DevSecOps and security automation
  • Present and summarize findings and recommendations to technical and executive audiences

Requirements

  • Certifications: MCSE Cloud Platform and Infrastructure, MCSA Cloud Platform Solutions Associate, MCSA Linux on Azure Solutions Associate
  • Experience with AZ-400 Azure DevOps Solutions, Architecting Azure Solutions, AZ - 300 & AZ - 301, 70-533, AZ - 100 & 101 Implementing Azure Infrastructure Solutions
  • Strong understanding of Azure infrastructure architecture and best practices
  • Proficiency in GitHub Action, ADO, Power Shell, ARM Templates, IaC - Terraform, and QA Tools Integration with CICD Pipelines
  • Experience in network configuration and multi-cloud connectivity
