We are now recruiting talented individuals to fill our current vacancy for a DevOps Engineer to work on our projects in one of Arcadis's global locations. The DevOps Engineer designs and deploys application/solution infrastructure and manages code changes. Technology is the core and integral part of what we do, all the way for empowering Arcadians to harness the power of data and AI/ML for sensors, IIOT, and Advanced Drones. The technology teams are Dreaming Big and Delivering on the future. As part of our Technology drive, we are looking for on-board talented and passionate people across multiple locations in the United States and Canada.

Responsibilities

  • Reviews code written by solution/application developers
  • Deploys solutions based on CICD Architect's designs
  • Implements solutions with DevOps and/or scrum teams
  • Works in an Agile way while participating in product and application scrum teams
  • Collaborates with operations staff to ensure that systems are up and running smoothly
  • Works directly with application teams on business requirements, solution design, and infrastructure requirements
  • Implements the CICD Automation use cases mostly using scripting and tools like Terraform, PowerShell, Bash, Ansible
  • Provides senior level recommendations and advice on various implementation options and issues
  • Reviews code written by others, guiding other members of the team
  • Follows the established processes and best practices to ensure code quality and security
  • Monitors and measures customer experience and KPIs
  • Documents as relevant
  • Involved in multiple IT service management processes: Incident Management, Problem Management, Release Management, Configuration Management, Change Management
  • Deploys updates and fixes, and provides Level 3 technical support.

Requirements

  • Deep understanding of both development and operations processes
  • Strong technical background
  • Azure Solutions Architect (AZ305) course completion required; certification highly desirable
  • Fully versed in Agile methodologies
  • Subject matter expertise in designing cloud and hybrid solutions on Microsoft Azure
