About the position

The Cloud Infrastructure DevOps Lead Engineer will be responsible for leading the DevOps initiatives within the organization, focusing on infrastructure management and automation. This role requires extensive experience in cloud technologies and DevOps practices, with a strong emphasis on Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD processes. The position is hybrid, based in Austin, TX, and is intended for candidates residing in the Texas area.

Responsibilities

• Lead the DevOps team in implementing and managing cloud infrastructure solutions.
• Design and develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform for deploying applications in AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using Concourse CI/CD and other relevant tools.
• Manage and automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Ansible and Vault.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth deployment and integration of applications.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
• Ensure best practices in cloud security and identity management are followed.

Requirements

• 10-12 years of experience in Infrastructure as a Lead DevOps Engineer.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python, Terraform, Ansible, and Concourse CI/CD.
• Proficient in using Terraform to build modules for deploying applications in AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
• Strong experience in CI/CD technology and practices.
• Good understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tooling and practices.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS foundational technologies (EC2, S3, IAM, Route53, VPC).
• Strong experience with Azure foundational technologies (Virtual Networks, Application Gateway, Storage Account, Virtual Machines, Load Balancer, Resource Groups).
• Experience in scripting or programming languages for automation (bash, python).
• Strong Linux OS skills including deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Good understanding of networking technologies.
