About the position

The Azure DevOps Server Administrator will design, implement, and manage the Azure DevOps Server infrastructure, ensuring high system availability and operational excellence. This role requires collaboration with various teams, a strong understanding of Azure DevOps architecture, and a focus on automation and CI/CD processes.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and manage Azure DevOps Server infrastructure, including application servers, databases, and build agents.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and optimize Azure DevOps Server configurations for effective CI/CD pipeline performance.
• Monitor system performance, diagnose issues, and implement solutions to maintain high availability, reliability, and scalability.
• Apply security best practices and maintain compliance with company policies and industry standards.
• Automate routine administrative tasks using tools such as PowerShell and Azure DevOps pipelines.
• Perform system upgrades, backups, and disaster recovery planning to safeguard data and maintain system reliability.
• Stay informed on industry trends and emerging technologies related to Azure DevOps Server administration.
• Provide technical assistance and training to teams on Azure DevOps Server usage and integrations.
• Document configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides for future reference.

Requirements

• Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience as a system administrator or DevOps engineer with expertise in Microsoft Azure DevOps Server.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Azure DevOps Server architecture, setup, and administration.
• Proficiency in Microsoft technologies, including Windows Server, SQL Server, and IIS.
• Hands-on experience with scripting languages, particularly PowerShell, for task automation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and proficiency in resolving complex technical issues.
• Experience with source control systems (e.g., Git), CI/CD pipeline management, and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
