About the position

The Azure DevSecOps Engineer at SAIC is responsible for designing, deploying, operating, and maintaining secure Cloud products and services. This role involves supporting the continuous integration and delivery processes, automating infrastructure and tooling in cloud-based platforms, and collaborating with development and security teams to enhance product delivery efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in designing, deploying, operating, and maintaining secure Cloud products and services within a Cloud-based environment.
  • Support the maintenance and ongoing development of continuous build/integration infrastructure.
  • Assist in Source Control Management/Documentation and participate in creating and maintaining fully automated CI build processes for multiple environments.
  • Support CI/CD tools integration, operations, change management, and maintenance.
  • Assist in supporting full automation of CI/testing.
  • Support policies, standards, guidelines, governance, and related guidance for both CI/CD operations and developer work.
  • Support successful release management by assisting in moving code from Development and Testing environments to Staging and Production.
  • Collaborate with software developers, production support, and information security to automate and support infrastructure and tooling in cloud-based platforms.
  • Provide support and assist in implementing agile and DevOps/DevSecOps practices to streamline product delivery and ensure reliable operations.
  • Assist in identifying opportunities to automate tasks and improve efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience; or a HS diploma with 4 years of experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.
  • Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.
  • Extensive experience with Terraform and Azure.
