About the position

Infosys is seeking an Azure Power BI Developer who is a highly skilled expert in Azure Cloud and Power BI. The role focuses on delivering scalable, secure, and efficient cloud architectures while providing insightful data visualizations. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with various teams to drive cloud strategy, optimize infrastructure, and ensure seamless integration of data analytics, all within a learning culture that values teamwork, rewards excellence, and respects diversity.

Responsibilities

• Deliver scalable, secure, and efficient cloud architectures using Azure services.
• Create complex data models and develop interactive dashboards in Power BI.
• Implement data visualization best practices to provide insightful analytics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive cloud strategy and optimize infrastructure.
• Lead large-scale cloud migration projects and ensure seamless integration of data analytics.
• Utilize Azure DevOps, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Functions for cloud solutions.
• Apply data integration techniques and ETL processes for effective data management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in a specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in cloud technologies, specializing in Azure and Power BI.
• Proficiency in Azure services such as Azure DevOps, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Functions.
• Strong understanding of cloud security practices and compliance standards.
• Expertise in data integration techniques and ETL processes.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Experience leading large-scale cloud migration projects.
• Extensive experience with Snowflake for data warehousing and data integration.
• Extensive experience with Power BI, including creating complex data models and developing interactive dashboards.
• Proficiency in DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) and Power Query for data manipulation and analysis.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and advanced SQL skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Strong functional knowledge of manufacturing processes.
• Experience in customer interactions, requirement gathering, and stakeholder management.
• Proficiency in Azure DevOps and quality processes.
• Experience with Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.
• Proven ability to work in a global delivery environment with client stakeholders across the globe.
