Responsibilities

• Design and implement data ingestion strategies, data warehouse structures, and automation solutions for data analytics.
• Align solutions with client needs and business requirements.
• Create functional and technical designs for projects.
• Participate in project status meetings and assist with project management tasks.
• Ensure SLA compliance and perform performance tuning of solutions.
• Write code using multiple programming languages and apply software development principles.
• Deliver high-performance and secure data analytics solutions.
• Assist with data governance programs and best practices implementation.
• Transform and clean data from source systems into analytics models.
• Implement models for data visualizations and integrations.
• Apply DevOps, DataOps, and MLOps methodologies on projects.
• Write custom integration logic in applicable programming languages.
• Assist project managers with project planning and resource management.
• Support clients with licensing, security, and cost estimation.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to standards.
• Establish secure data analytics platforms and infrastructure with clients.
• Contribute to successful deployments and integration of DevOps tools.
• Maintain current knowledge of data analytics strategies and tools.
• Build client relationships and act as a trusted advisor during project execution.
• Participate in support activities for existing software solutions.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred in Information Systems, Data Science, or Computer Science.
• Five or more years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Artificial Intelligence, or Application Development required.
• One or more years of experience leading development projects preferred.
• Strong SQL skills including DDL, DML, views, functions, and performance tuning required.
• Experience with Data Warehousing, Data Modeling, and Semantic Model Definition required.
• Hands-on delivery experience of cloud data analytics solutions within Azure or AWS preferred.
• Experience with programming languages such as C#, Python, Java, or Scala preferred.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with tabular modeling within Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, or Azure Analysis Services preferred.
• Experience with Git and DevOps deployment technologies preferred.
• Experience with Linux preferred.
• Familiarity with Data Lake Medallion Architecture preferred.
• Experience with AI Algorithms/Machine Learning preferred.
• Knowledge of automation tools such as UiPath or Alteryx preferred.
