About the position

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize data solutions using Azure Synapse and related technologies.
• Write and maintain ADB/Synapse notebooks for data processing and analysis.
• Implement and optimize SSAS Tabular Models and DAX queries.
• Resolve performance issues and perform database tuning.
• Create and manage stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views.
• Utilize Azure Data Factory (ADF) for data integration and transformation.
• Work with Azure SQL Database, Azure Databricks, and other Azure services for BI solutions.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, specifically with Azure technologies.
• Strong experience with SSAS Tabular Model, DAX queries, and query optimization.
• Proficient in database tuning and data replication techniques with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience with Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Databricks (ADB), and Synapse.
• Familiarity with SparkSQL/PySpark and Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS).
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and reporting skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric.
• Knowledge of Azure functions, Azure Streaming Analytics, Document DB (Cosmos), and SQL Master Data Service (MDS).
