About the position

The Azure Systems Architect will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Azure cloud solutions within a fully remote IT team in a startup environment. This role requires collaboration with the enterprise architecture team to develop solutions for a SaaS platform in the event ticketing industry, while balancing long-term vision with short-term goals.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain Azure cloud solutions for SaaS
• Conduct research and analysis of technology solutions
• Develop and maintain technical documentation
• Implement and integrate IT systems
• Create strategies for monitoring and optimizing cloud solutions
• Use Agile methodologies to communicate and deliver (Jira)

Requirements

• Proven experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining Azure cloud solutions
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively and contribute to individual goals
• Understanding of long-term vision and short-term goals in a startup environment
• Experience with Azure cloud service technologies
• Knowledge of messaging and container hosting
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Bash, PowerShell, etc.)
• Familiarity with infrastructure monitoring/visualization tools (Grafana)
• Experience with IaC tooling (Terraform)
• Knowledge of single sign-on (Azure B2C)
• Experience with source repository (GitHub)
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)
• Proficiency in Microsoft and Linux operating systems
• Understanding of DevOps engineering practices
• Knowledge of cloud networking
