About the position

The Azure Systems Architect will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Azure cloud solutions within a fully remote IT team in a startup environment. This role requires a highly motivated individual with a strong background in Azure technologies, who can work collaboratively with the enterprise architecture team to develop solutions for a SaaS platform in the event ticketing industry. The position emphasizes both individual contributions and leadership in executing system designs.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain Azure cloud solutions for SaaS.
• Conduct research and analysis of technology solutions.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation.
• Implement and integrate IT systems.
• Create strategies for monitoring and optimizing cloud solutions.

Requirements

• Proven experience with Azure cloud service technologies.
• Strong knowledge of messaging and container hosting.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash and PowerShell.
• Experience with infrastructure monitoring/visualization tools like Grafana.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tooling, specifically Terraform.
• Understanding of single sign-on solutions, particularly Azure B2C.
• Experience with source repositories like GitHub.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools, including GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps.
• Proficient in both Microsoft and Linux operating systems.
• Familiarity with DevOps engineering practices.
• Understanding of cloud networking.
