About the position

As an Azure Technical Lead at Fisher Investments, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Cloud Platform team by mentoring and guiding a group of cloud engineers. Your primary focus will be on designing, implementing, and managing Azure-based cloud infrastructure while contributing to process improvements and ensuring the reliability and performance of cloud services. Responsibilities

• Guide, mentor, and manage a team of cloud engineers fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment
• Conduct regular team meetings for architecture/design reviews, code reviews, and training sessions
• Aide in designing and managing scalable and resilient cloud infrastructure and automation tooling
• Oversee the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of Azure resources
• Ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of the Azure environment through proactive monitoring and troubleshooting
• Manage cloud costs and optimize resource usage for cost efficiency
• Work with solution architects to ensure developed solutions meet security controls and best practices
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation in the Azure cloud environment
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Azure features and disseminate knowledge to the team
• Investigate and monitor current-state cloud usage and recommend optimizations

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure across platform technology areas
• 5+ years of experience building, deploying, and managing public cloud IaaS and PaaS services
• Experience building an automated cloud infrastructure across Prod and Non-Prod environments
• Scripting and automation of builds, workflows, and tasks
• Linux and Microsoft Windows server administration
• Configuration management and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) toolsets including Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, and Chef
