About the position

Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) is seeking a B2 Configuration and Data Management professional to provide comprehensive support to the US Air Force B-2 Systems acquisition programs. This role involves ensuring consistency in product performance and compliance with requirements throughout the product lifecycle, while also engaging in various configuration management activities and supporting engineering data management efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Apply knowledge of configuration management fundamentals to maintain product consistency with requirements and design.
  • Review program-unique specifications for compliance with standards and requirements.
  • Process requests for nomenclature and Computer Program Identification Numbers (CPINs).
  • Support the configuration control function including processing and tracking Advanced Change Study Notices (ACSNs) and Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs).
  • Assist in the preparation and conduct of Configuration Control Boards (CCB) and Business Management Boards.
  • Provide engineering data management support, including maintaining Engineering Data Activity Files and preparing Engineering Data Management Plans.
  • Analyze impacts of configuration management changes on lifecycle sustainment.
  • Assist in the development and management of Contract Data Requirement List (CDRL) requirements.
  • Plan and implement Functional Configuration Audits (FCAs) and Physical Configuration Audits (PCAs).
  • Participate in Government reviews and working groups to resolve configuration management issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 15 years of relevant experience in configuration management.
  • 5 years of experience managing programs in a DoD acquisition environment.
  • Secret security clearance (adjudicated within the past 5 years).

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with engineering data management processes.
  • Familiarity with DoD acquisition policies and procedures.
