The Boeing Company is seeking an Experienced Production Operations Specialist to join the B-52 team in San Antonio, TX. This role involves developing and implementing manufacturing processes, providing engineering support, and leading projects related to aircraft maintenance and modifications. The position requires a strong background in aviation and the ability to manage technical projects across multiple organizations.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements manufacturing processes.
• Provides concurrent engineering support.
• Defines production activities and resolves problems of limited scope.
• Reviews and approves technical documents.
• Analyzes charging trends and develops projected manpower forecast.
• Assists with the preparation and justification for major capital expenditures and equipment implementation.
• Leads projects and participates in technical research on proposed projects.
• Serves as primary interface with internal customers.
• Translates data into actionable plan for implementation within the organization.
• Compiles and provides management status reports for corrective/preventative action.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience leading or managing integrated technical projects or teams across multiple organizations.
• 10+ years of experience in aviation or aviation related activities.
• 10+ years of experience working with aircraft maintenance and/or modifications.
• 5+ years of experience in applying Earned Value Management (EVM) methodology and analysis.
• Willing and able to travel domestically up to 25% of the time.

Nice-to-haves

• 5+ years' experience with B-52 aircraft maintenance and/or modifications.
• Experience with Field Service and/or Modification leadership.
• Experience with Military Program Support.
• Bachelor's degree in related technical field.
