About the position

T.R.A.C. Therapy Research Autism Center is actively seeking a dedicated and result-driven Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a supportive environment focused on providing high-quality services to individuals with autism. The role is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility while still requiring in-person assessments and family guidance as needed. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in behavior analysis and be able to demonstrate their knowledge through various assessments and documentation. As a BCBA at T.R.A.C., you will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and supervising Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and Behavior Technicians (BTs). You will be expected to model best practices and provide constructive feedback to ensure the highest standards of care are met. Monthly meetings will be held remotely, and attendance is mandatory to foster collaboration and continuous improvement within the team. Candidates must possess a BCBA certification in good standing with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) and, if applicable, a LARA license. The ability to start cases independently is crucial, which includes reaching out to clients for scheduling assessments and conducting family guidance. All necessary documentation must be submitted promptly, and candidates should be prepared to provide samples of their work, including Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), programs, and assessments upon request.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct assessments and review assessments using tools such as AFLS, VB-MAPP, Vineland, ABLLS-R, and PEAK.
  • Supervise, model, and provide constructive feedback to RBTs and BTs according to T.R.A.C. training requirements and BACB standards.
  • Ensure timely submission of all required documents pending a job offer.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans based on assessment results.
  • Conduct family guidance sessions and client assessments in their homes as needed.

Requirements

  • Must have obtained a BCBA certification and be in good standing with the BACB.
  • LARA License (if applicable).
  • Ability to start a case independently, including scheduling assessments and conducting family guidance.
  • Knowledge of conducting assessments and reviewing assessments per the job description.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with various assessment tools such as AFLS, VB-MAPP, Vineland, ABLLS-R, and PEAK.
  • Certification to supervise QBHPs and BCaBAs (if applicable).
  • Experience in a research or clinical setting related to autism.

Benefits

  • Flexible working hours with 50% remote work option.
  • Supportive team environment focused on professional development.
