About the position

The B&F Supervisor at W Amsterdam is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the W Lounge, In Room Dining, and the Banqueting Department. This role focuses on delivering luxury service and ensuring a memorable experience for guests while managing a team and maintaining high standards of service and compliance with policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the day-to-day operations of the W Lounge, In Room Dining, and Banqueting to ensure luxury service.
• Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and standards.
• Facilitate smooth communication and cooperation with other departments.
• Perform administrative duties such as scheduling and organizing stock counts.
• Handle HR-related tasks including appraisals, performance reviews, and coaching.
• Motivate the team to achieve excellent performance and enforce discipline when necessary.
• Ensure teams follow service standards and operating procedures throughout each order and interaction.
• Personalize guest service to create memorable experiences with the Whatever/Whenever service.
• Maintain a clean and sparkling environment for guests.
• Be available during busy weekends and evenings, working in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role.
• Fluency in English; Dutch and any other language is appreciated.
• Preferably experience in nightlife venues (bars/lounges).
• Work Permit for The Netherlands is required.
