About the position

The Events Coordinator at Treasury Wine Estates (TWE) is responsible for managing the logistics of various events and group experiences across TWE sites. This role involves coordinating customer details, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring the successful execution of events, including virtual tastings. The coordinator will work closely with the Sales Manager and other internal partners to deliver exceptional experiences while contributing to the company's sales targets.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate logistics for on-site and off-site events, including social gatherings, tastings, weddings, and corporate events.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for event details, responding promptly and professionally to client inquiries.
  • Conduct site inspections and detail planning with clients and vendors for potential new events.
  • Manage communication regarding staffing and culinary needs with internal partners.
  • Create event orders and manage financial deposits, payments, and vendor invoices.
  • Provide analysis and insights on event business ROI and maintain event management systems.
  • Stay on-site during larger events to ensure guest expectations are met and provide additional support as needed.
  • Create and distribute weekly event packets and attend site event meetings.
  • Coordinate Wine Club and Consumer events alongside the Sales Manager and site managers.
  • Handle logistics for virtual tastings and corporate gifting, including inventory counts and order tracking.

Requirements

  • Associate Degree or at least 1 year of event planning or catering experience.
  • Strong computer skills, proficient in Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and negotiation skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently.
  • Experience with event management systems and payment platforms.
