About the position

Collette is seeking a B2B Copywriter to join our Marketing team. This is a hybrid role based at our headquarters in Pawtucket, RI. The B2B Copywriter will create clear, concise, and persuasive copy for our B2B marketing channels, supporting the growth of this key part of the business. The incumbent must be able to craft copy across multiple platforms, including but not limited to print and digital advertising, events, trainings, tradeshows, and enablement materials. This writer will work closely with the Senior Marketing Manager, B2B graphic designer, and teams across marketing and sales to create tailored messaging in various mediums for the B2B channel. Additionally, this writer will write content to support sales and client care enablement, including flyers, presentations, FAQ scripts, content for virtual events, and more. This role requires creativity, collaboration, and an inquisitive, team-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

  • Write clear, concise, and persuasive copy; tailoring messaging by audience to create engaging and informative content for the B2B channel.
  • Take a 'no word wasted' mentality—ensuring copy has strength and depth.
  • Contribute ideas and deliver work that is timely, on target, consistent, and accurate.
  • Collaborate with teams across the business and marketing, including, but not limited to the Creative Team, Sales Team, and within the Growth Team (Product Marketing, Partner Marketing, and Channel Marketing teams).
  • Research and reach out to experts throughout the business and industry as needed.
  • Ability and willingness to travel.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years of writing experience.
  • Knowledge of writing, proofreading and copyediting in Microsoft Office in a Macintosh environment necessary.
  • In addition to writing skills, must also possess strong time management, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to capture the voice of the brand and flex it through the channel lens.
  • Comfortable taking and incorporating feedback. Comfortable asking questions.
  • Ability to advocate for creative choices; savvy to know when and where to do that.
  • Strong attention to detail. Able to deliver sound copy on time.
  • Knowledge of Digital Work Management Systems preferred.
  • Working knowledge of WordPress and Adobe Creative Suite experience a plus.
  • Desire to learn and stretch into new opportunities as they present themselves.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the travel industry.
  • Familiarity with B2B marketing strategies.
