About the position

As a B2B Copywriter at MOBE, LLC, you will play a crucial role in crafting engaging and persuasive content tailored for various commercial audiences, including health plans, employers, and consultants. Your primary responsibility will be to thoughtfully guide and advance buyers through their customer journeys, ensuring that the content resonates with their needs and expectations. This position requires a collaborative spirit, as you will work closely with other team members to ideate and execute a wide range of creative assignments. These assignments will include email campaigns, website content, trade show experiences, and digital advertising, all aimed at generating on-brand and strategic copy that attracts and supports business leads. In this role, you will be expected to conceptualize and write content for multi-channel initiatives, participate in strategy sessions, and contribute thoughtfully to discussions. Your ability to brainstorm and collaborate with other creatives will be essential in ensuring that all assignments meet project requirements and business objectives. You will also be responsible for adhering to B2B creative writing standards and proofing guidelines, prioritizing and balancing a large volume of work, and communicating effectively with creative teammates and project managers to avoid obstacles or delays. Additionally, you will apply a strategic lens to creative problem-solving, present your work clearly and concisely, and ensure that all writing adheres to brand standards to provide a consistent and compelling experience for our audience. Your understanding of SEO principles will be vital in developing copy that drives leads through our digital channels. You will also support content reviews, proofread as needed, and mentor emerging writing talent within the team. This position reports to the Senior Director of Creative Services and involves other duties as assigned to help drive the company's vision, fulfill its mission, and abide by MOBE's guiding principles.

Responsibilities

  • Concept and write content for multi-channel initiatives, including lead generation email campaigns, e-newsletters, web copy, trade shows, and paid media.
  • Participate in strategy sessions and kick-off meetings; adding to discussions with thoughtful contributions and observations.
  • Brainstorm and collaborate with other creatives to ensure assignments meet project requirements and business objectives.
  • Help support B2B creative writing standards and proofing guidelines.
  • Prioritize and balance a large capacity of work, avoiding obstacles or delays through clear communication with creative teammates and project managers.
  • Apply a strategic lens to creative problem solving, and present work in a clear and concise way.
  • Adhere to brand standards when writing to provide a consistent and compelling experience for our audience.
  • Apply SEO principles to develop copy that helps to drive leads through our digital channels.
  • Support content reviews and proofread whenever needed (or provide guidance to team Proofreader on writing standards).
  • Understand business products/services/objectives through research and cross-functional conversations.
  • Support the MOBE Marketing team with high-quality work and 'out-of-the-box' thinking.
  • Mentor and guide emerging writing talent, as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned to help drive to our Vision, fulfill our Mission, and abide by MOBE's Guiding Principles.
