About the position

The Senior Manager of B2B Copywriting at CVS Health will lead a team of writers focused on creating impactful healthcare content and marketing materials. This role emphasizes collaboration with various stakeholders to enhance the B2B content across the organization, ensuring that communications are clear, engaging, and aligned with the brand's voice. The position is hybrid, requiring onsite presence at one of the corporate hubs three days a week, and is integral to the Customer Success and Growth Organization, which aims to deliver personalized experiences to members and customers.

Responsibilities

  • Translate and distill complex information into simple, easy-to-understand communications.
  • Demonstrate expert writing, editorial, and proofreading skills.
  • Manage a team of B2B writers, providing guidance and support.
  • Collaborate with marketing strategists, designers, delivery managers, and external agencies to enhance content impact.
  • Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in B2B communications, preferably in healthcare, journalism, or corporate communications.
  • 3+ years of experience managing a team of writers.
  • 3+ years of experience using project management tools, with WorkFront experience preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Ability to excel and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong copywriting skills with attention to detail in grammar and spelling.
  • Experience working with complex clinical, analytic, or operational materials to create relatable content.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, including PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
  • Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects effectively.
