About the position

The B2B Marketing Manager will play a crucial role in planning, developing, and implementing marketing and advertising strategies to support energy efficiency initiatives for a New Jersey-based utility. This position is part of an award-winning energy marketing team that focuses on creating impactful marketing campaigns to educate business customers about energy efficiency and drive participation in related programs. The role involves collaboration with clients, vendors, and internal teams to produce various marketing materials and manage outreach initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the marketing and advertising of B2B energy efficiency programs for a major utility in NJ.
  • Work directly with clients and vendors to develop and implement marketing plans.
  • Supervise the ICF team in executing marketing strategies to educate business customers about energy efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the creative services team to develop marketing materials including advertising campaigns, brochures, and digital content.
  • Coordinate with the media services team to propose and implement integrated outreach campaigns across various channels.
  • Manage the review and approval process for marketing materials across the organization.
  • Develop project budgets and revenue forecasts, and manage project budgets effectively.
  • Prepare monthly reports on activities and results of the marketing program.
  • Develop and execute business growth strategies, including marketing to potential clients and responding to RFPs.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Advertising, or related majors (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of working experience in marketing, advertising, social marketing, or related fields, particularly in B2B marketing.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working in an advertising agency or on a small business marketing account.
  • Experience supporting or working with a sales team and driving results.
  • Experience in developing and implementing marketing communications plans.
  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and email management systems.
  • Interest in and commitment to energy efficiency and sustainable living.
