About the position

The B2B Marketing Manager will be part of the energy Account Services team and will work on the planning, development, and implementation of marketing and advertising strategies and communications activities to support our utility client in New Jersey. The Account Services team conducts all aspects of marketing to include advertising, strategic planning, research, social media, events, outreach, and partnerships. We help our clients and communities use less energy, save money, and help the environment through the development, implementation, and outreach initiatives. Responsibilities

  • Managing the marketing and advertising of commercial energy efficiency programs for a utility in south New Jersey.
  • Work as client lead for commercial programs to develop and implement marketing and communications plans.
  • Drive awareness about the benefits of energy efficiency services and generate leads from business customers.
  • Coordinate with ICF Creative Services team to fulfill the development of marketing materials, which may include digital and social media, websites, brochures, email and direct mail campaigns, video, print, outdoor, etc.
  • Collaborate with the ICF Media Services team to develop, propose, and implement vertical marketing and advertising campaigns, coordinating the deployment of integrated outreach campaigns across broadcast, print, online, social media, events, etc.
  • Lead the review and approval process for all marketing materials, including working across the organization to deploy efforts (IT, program management, client).
  • Manage project budgets and financial protocols for responsible stewardship of expenses.
  • Managing direct and indirect report(s).
  • Preparing monthly reports on activities and results of the marketing program and presenting to clients.
  • Developing and executing business growth strategies, including marketing to potential clients, and responding to RFPs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (candidates can substitute one year of experience for each year of education)
  • 3+ years of working experience in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field, particularly experience working in B2B marketing at an advertising agency or consulting firm.
  • 1+ years of experience managing marketing budgets.

Nice-to-haves

  • B2B and/or energy marketing experience.
  • Working in an advertising agency and/or on a B2B marketing account.
  • Experience driving results through marketing and articulating those results to a variety of stakeholders.
  • Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills.
  • Developing and implementing marketing communications plans, with the ability to manage and execute advertising, collateral development, digital and social media projects.
  • Managing creative teams in the production of various advertising assets.
  • Experience with CRM, lead generation and email marketing.
  • Experience launching new products or programs.
  • Experience managing a microsite, website, or portal launch.
  • Interest in and commitment to energy efficiency, the environment, and sustainable living.
