About the position

The B2B Marketing Manager will be responsible for planning, developing, and implementing marketing and advertising strategies to support energy efficiency efforts for a New Jersey-based utility. This role involves managing marketing initiatives, collaborating with clients and vendors, and overseeing the creative and media services teams to drive participation in energy efficiency programs. Responsibilities

  • Managing the marketing and advertising of B2B energy efficiency programs for a major utility in NJ.
  • Working directly with clients and vendors to develop and implement marketing plans.
  • Supervising the ICF team to educate business customers about energy efficiency.
  • Collaborating with the creative services team to develop marketing materials including advertising campaigns and brochures.
  • Coordinating with the Media Services team to implement integrated outreach campaigns across various platforms.
  • Managing the review and approval process for marketing materials across the organization.
  • Developing project budgets and revenue forecasts, and managing project budgets.
  • Preparing monthly reports on activities and results of the marketing program.
  • Developing and executing business growth strategies, including marketing to potential clients and responding to RFPs.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Advertising, or related majors.
  • 5+ years of working experience in marketing, advertising, social marketing, or related field, particularly in B2B marketing.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working in an advertising agency and/or on a small business marketing account.
  • Experience supporting or working with a sales team and driving results.
  • Experience developing and implementing marketing communications plans.
  • Experience using content management systems (CMS) and email management systems.
  • Interest in and commitment to energy efficiency, the environment, and sustainable living.
