About the position

As an Outside Sales Representative at Broadway Equipment Company, you will play a crucial role in driving sales for our automated car wash systems and customer retention programs tailored for OEM auto dealerships. This position is designed for individuals who are confident, self-motivated, and possess a strong entrepreneurial spirit. You will be responsible for managing the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals, while meeting and exceeding sales quotas. Your territory will primarily cover the Wisconsin and North Dakota areas, where you will engage with potential and existing customers to effectively communicate our value propositions. In this commission-based role, you will have the opportunity to earn substantial income through two types of commissions: one-time commissions from capital equipment sales and ongoing residual commissions from subscription sales. The capital equipment sales involve selling our automated vehicle washers, which are endorsed by major car manufacturers and hold a significant market share in the auto dealer market. The subscription sales involve promoting our Auto Butler product line, which offers a paint preservation and customer loyalty program, creating an annuity commission for a minimum of five years. Our top representatives have the potential to earn over $300,000 annually, making this an ideal position for those with an entrepreneurial mindset. We are looking for candidates with at least five years of B2B sales experience, particularly those who have face-to-face sales experience and a proven track record of meeting and exceeding quotas. While experience in selling to car dealerships or car wash management is preferred, it is not mandatory. The role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to develop relationships with business owners and executives, and a passion for sales in an entrepreneurial environment. We also offer startup assistance in the form of a salary draw during training and the first year to help you succeed in this role.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to listen purposefully during sales calls.
  • Passionate about sales and enjoys entrepreneurial environments.

Nice-to-haves

  • 2+ years of OEM car dealership experience or car wash management experience.
  • Experience in capital equipment sales and business development.
  • Experience with cold calling.
