About the position

We are seeking an energetic and confident individual to join our team as a B2B Outside Sales Representative. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong background in business ownership or sales, particularly those who thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As an Outside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for managing your own schedule and conducting sales appointments with small to medium-sized business owners within a local territory, typically within a 20-mile radius of your home. This position offers a unique opportunity to work with a leading business development firm and to expand your career in sales. In this role, you will prepare for appointments received from your assistant the day prior, ensuring you are well-equipped to engage with potential clients. You will be expected to direct 3-4 sales appointments daily, focusing on marketing and securing Business Analysts a Survey Agreement. After each appointment, you will contact the Business Coordinator to provide feedback and share new business lead opportunities. Additionally, you will review the day's successes and challenges with your Sales Manager, who will provide you with the necessary sales support to help you succeed. This is a commission-only position with the potential for high earnings, including daily cash bonuses and residual income. We offer comprehensive training and development for new hires, and you will have access to full benefits after 60 days of employment, including a 401(k) plan after one year. You will also benefit from a protected territory and pre-set appointments, allowing you to focus on building relationships and closing sales.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing for appointments received from assistant the day prior, ensuring readiness for client meetings.
  • Directing 3-4 sales appointments daily with owners of small to medium-sized businesses.
  • Marketing and securing Business Analysts a Survey Agreement during sales appointments.
  • Contacting Business Coordinator with feedback from appointments and sharing new business lead opportunities.
  • Reviewing the day's successes and challenges with your Sales Manager to gain sales support.

Requirements

  • At least three years of business ownership experience and/or three years of face-to-face direct sales experience.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not necessary; relevant experience will be considered over formal education.
  • Highly self-motivated and self-disciplined with the ability to work effectively with little or no supervision.
  • Outgoing personality with expertise in developing relationships, particularly with business owners, presidents, and CEOs.
  • Good communicator with excellent listening skills and the ability to uncover clients' real pain points.
  • Ability to begin work immediately.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in B2B sales is preferred.
