About the position

The B2B Outside Sales Representative at Orkin is responsible for selling pest control services to various commercial clients. This role emphasizes building relationships, understanding customer needs, and providing tailored solutions to ensure customer satisfaction. Responsibilities

  • Understand Orkin's products and services and how to sell them to various industries.
  • Make strategic recommendations to new and existing customers to help prevent pests and uphold quality and safety standards.
  • Solve problems and build trusted relationships with commercial customers.
  • Prioritize safety in all responsibilities and conduct oneself with professionalism and integrity.
  • Achieve sales goals through prospecting new business and managing assigned leads.
  • Utilize marketing tools to drive new business development.
  • Conduct inspections of customers' commercial properties and make recommendations based on findings.
  • Prepare sales agreements using provided iPad and stay organized.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license/certification if required (company paid).
  • Ability to work independently in the field and interact with clients.
  • Sales experience preferred, but no experience required.

  • Experience in sales or customer service roles.
  • Familiarity with pest control services or related industries.
