About the position

Our client is seeking a B2B SaaS Copywriter to join their team on a temporary basis. This role is designed for freelance copywriters who can work as needed, with hours varying from week to week based on business demands. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating compelling copy for product pages and product messaging, collaborating closely with Product Management and Product Marketing teams. The copywriter will also be tasked with developing campaigns and conversion copy, which includes writing engaging email copy, social media content, and ad copy. Additionally, the role involves crafting executive and customer communications, ensuring that the messaging is clear and effective across various platforms. The copywriter will play a crucial role in enhancing the global reach of the company's website, moving towards a model that is as inclusive as possible for a diverse audience. Collaboration is key in this position, as the copywriter will work alongside Design, Video, and internal Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to write video scripts and develop brand headlines. A strong ability to copy edit for tone and brand voice is essential, ensuring that all written content aligns with the company's identity and resonates with its target audience.

Responsibilities

  • Create copy for product pages and product messaging in collaboration with Product and PMM teams.
  • Develop campaigns and conversion copy, including email, social media, and ad copy.
  • Write executive and customer communications to enhance engagement.
  • Contribute to making the website globally inclusive and accessible.
  • Collaborate with Design, Video, and internal SMEs to write video scripts.
  • Craft brand headlines that reflect the company's voice and mission.
  • Edit copy for tone and brand voice to ensure consistency across all platforms.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in web copywriting, preferably in B2B SaaS.
  • Experience writing for technology products across web, marketing, and advertising.
  • Ability to work independently without needing extensive guidance.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Experience in creative marketing and advertising.
