About the position

The B2B Sales Manager at Colonial Life is responsible for leading and mentoring a sales team to achieve maximum profitability and growth. This role focuses on training agents, identifying market opportunities, and implementing action plans to enhance team performance. The position offers competitive compensation based on production, along with various incentives and support from core team members.

Responsibilities

  • Train and develop agents to enhance their sales skills and performance.
  • Direct a sales team towards achieving profitability and growth in alignment with company values.
  • Identify market opportunities and challenges, and develop action plans to address them.
  • Provide leadership and motivation to team members to foster a positive sales culture.
  • Collaborate with core team members including a Recruiting Consultant and Territory Sales Manager.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in leading, recruiting, and developing a sales team.
  • Desire to lead and motivate others effectively.
  • Energetic and self-starter attitude.
  • Previous sales experience is preferred.
  • Valid Health & Life Insurance License (can be obtained during onboarding).
