About the position

The Group Marketing Manager at Government Business Results (GBR) is responsible for leading a team of B2G Marketing Managers to develop and execute marketing strategies that drive demand generation in the public sector. This role combines leadership with hands-on marketing execution, requiring a deep understanding of technology sales and the ability to mentor a team while managing client relationships and campaign performance.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and mentor a team of experienced B2G Marketing Managers, ensuring they meet their KPIs and develop professionally.
  • Track market and channel trends to adjust marketing strategies accordingly, particularly in public sector or regulated industries.
  • Develop content and messaging to connect with the target audience and provide input for new sales and marketing materials.
  • Implement and manage marketing campaigns tailored to meet specific sales and marketing objectives, focusing on metrics-driven demand-generation programs.
  • Analyze and report progress against campaign goals and the ROI of activities.
  • Plan, manage, and execute marketing events.
  • Serve as the marketing point-of-contact on cross-functional teams for various projects and initiatives.
  • Represent, communicate, and champion GBR brand and marketing guidelines.
  • Track and record work time accurately and timely.
  • Attend onsite visits with clients and in-person staff meetings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent work experience) in a related field plus 5-10 years of professional experience in marketing technology or B2B marketing.
  • Prior experience supervising and mentoring a team of marketing professionals.
  • Marketing experience in Field, Channel, or Campaign Development areas.
  • Public sector experience is highly recommended, or experience in effective audience targeting in Healthcare or Education.

  • Strong communication skills, including writing, verbal, and listening.
