About the position

The B52 Budget Analyst - Senior at Bevilacqua Research Corporation is responsible for providing comprehensive financial management support, including analysis, cost estimating, and program integration for the F/B Directorate. This role requires proficiency in various financial systems and tools, as well as a deep understanding of financial regulations and appropriations law. The analyst will work closely with senior management to ensure effective financial oversight and reporting, while also addressing any significant financial developments that may impact mission objectives.

Responsibilities

• Proficient in financial systems and tools such as MOCAS, GAFS, SMART, PMRT, CRIS, ABSS, DTS, SDW, EDA, FMSuite, CCaR, and Web CCaR.
• Conduct research and analysis on open documents using Web CCaR, SDW, and CRIS.
• Provide financial management support in financial analysis, cost estimating, and program integration.
• Keep senior management informed of program progress and significant financial developments.
• Determine financial recommendations for unresolved problems and perform follow-up actions.
• Apply expertise in financial management guidance and regulations including FMR 7000.14R and AFI 65-601.
• Monitor the flow of USAF funds and provide recommendations for program shortfalls.
• Complete monthly reviews of MIPRs and MORDs to ensure validity and compliance with audit requirements.
• Track and monitor financial taskings and consolidate responses for directorate review.
• Assist in planning and execution of F/B Directorate PMA funding and develop funding strategies.
• Assist divisions in tracking expiring year funds and reporting end-of-year financial data.
• Participate in discussions, meetings, and provide written reports outlining findings and recommendations.

Requirements

• Advanced Degree (MA/MS) and 12 years of experience in the respective discipline, with 5 years in the DoD; OR BA/BS degree and 15 years of experience with 5 years in the DoD; OR 20 years of directly related experience with proper certifications and 8 years in the DoD.
• Active Secret Clearance required.
