About the position

The BA Payment/ACH Subject Matter Expert (SME) role at Infoway Solutions LLC is designed for an experienced Business Analyst with a strong focus on ACH and NACHA formats. This position requires expertise in payment processing systems, particularly in ACH payments and wire transfers. The SME will work closely with stakeholders and product owners to translate business requirements into actionable specifications, ensuring compliance and quality throughout the process.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Payments SME with a strong focus on ACH and NACHA formats, rules, and regulations.
• Understand and apply Nacha Operating Rules and regulations applicable to ACH payments.
• Interact with product owners and stakeholders to clarify and translate requirements into implementation specifications.
• Consolidate and manage functional and non-functional requirements by collaborating with stakeholders in a complex environment.
• Design, support, and maintain ACH/Bulk payment flows, identifying and implementing process improvements.
• Document designs and solutions according to organizational standards.
• Plan and execute requirement analysis in a logical, structured, and systematic manner.
• Work in an Agile environment, ensuring project alignment with business goals.
• Support stakeholders with clear, concise technical and non-technical communication.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience as a Payments SME with expertise in ACH NACHA formats and wire transfers.
• Strong understanding of Automated Clearing House (ACH) systems and processes.
• In-depth knowledge of Nacha Operating Rules and related regulations.
• Proven ability to collaborate with stakeholders to align project objectives and document solutions effectively.
• Strong critical thinking, analytical, and technical documentation skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, tailored to technical and non-technical audiences, including executive management.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and responsiveness to internal and external clients.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in identifying and implementing process improvements in payment flows.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools.
