About the position

The BA/Product Owner role is a unique position that combines the responsibilities of both a Business Analyst and a Product Owner. This hybrid role requires candidates to be highly hands-on and possess exceptional communication skills, as they will be expected to interact and partner with senior stakeholders effectively. The individual in this position will take ownership of Epics, Stories, Acceptance Criteria, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). A strong understanding of the Scrum framework is essential, as the team operates in two-week development sprints. Familiarity with tools such as Jira and Confluence is mandatory, as these platforms are integral to the workflow and project management processes. Candidates with prior Scrum experience will have an added advantage, as this knowledge will enhance their ability to contribute to the team's agile practices and ensure successful project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage Epics, Stories, and Acceptance Criteria.
• Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure product quality.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to gather requirements and provide updates.
• Facilitate communication between development teams and stakeholders.
• Utilize Jira and Confluence for project management and documentation.
• Participate in Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and reviews.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst and Product Owner.
• Strong communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
• Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence.
• Familiarity with the Scrum framework and agile methodologies.
• Ability to write clear and concise user stories and acceptance criteria.
