About the position
The BA Scrum Master at NTT DATA is responsible for facilitating Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum, within the team. This role involves coaching team members, managing stakeholder communication, and ensuring the effective execution of Scrum ceremonies. The Scrum Master will also focus on improving team performance, gathering requirements, and fostering a collaborative environment to enhance project outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective.
- Remove impediments and foster a collaborative team environment.
- Coach and mentor team members on Agile principles and practices.
- Monitor and improve team performance.
- Gather and analyze requirements.
- Model and improve processes.
- Manage client and stakeholder communication.
- Utilize problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Document and report project progress.
- Maintain a repository for templates, best practices, and lessons learned.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience working as a Scrum Master.
- Expertise in Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.
- Outstanding communication, facilitation, negotiation, and coaching skills.
- Knowledge of an agile framework or method (i.e. Scrum, Kanban) and traditional project management principles.
- Adept at refinement, story splitting, estimation, velocity, retrospection, and other Scrum techniques.
- Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
