About the position

The BaSE Systems Engineer Supervisor at UPS is responsible for ensuring adherence to Electrical PLC and HMI standards across automated projects. This role involves communication and resolution of compliance issues, collaboration with various stakeholders, and providing remote electrical troubleshooting support. The position requires extensive travel and a strong understanding of UPS Electrical standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to Electrical PLC and HMI standards across automated projects.
• Maintain record retention and communication of compliance issues.
• Collaborate with internal business partners, vendors, and manufacturers to ensure compliance with UPS standards and safety regulations.
• Provide remote electrical troubleshooting support to local UPS facilities.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen or National of the U.S., or an alien authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must have a Bachelor's Degree or three years of UPS experience.
• Must have experience with designing solutions for process improvement.
• Must have a flexible travel schedule, including weekends and non-business hours.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, OneNote, Teams, and Outlook).
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
