About the position
We are seeking attentive and trustworthy caregivers to provide exceptional care to both children and seniors. This role requires a proactive individual who can create a safe, stimulating, and fun atmosphere for children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, and school-aged kids. The position offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to work with a variety of families throughout the week.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times.
- Plan and engage in age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
- Provide daily care including feeding, bathing, dressing, and changing diapers for infants and toddlers.
- Assist with homework and educational activities for school-aged children.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment, including tidying up play areas and preparing meals.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress, behavior, and any concerns.
- Administer first aid when necessary and respond to emergencies calmly and effectively.
Requirements
- At least 18 years old
- Minimum of 1 year in caregiving, babysitting, nannying, or daycare
- Valid driver's license and vehicle
- Legal work status in the US
- Child, Infant & Adult CPR and First Aid certification before employment
- Excellent texting skills for updates and availability
- Commitment of at least 3 months
