About the position

We are seeking a compassionate and responsible Babysitter/Nanny to provide exceptional care for children in a nurturing environment. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage daily routines, ensuring the safety and well-being of the children in their care.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage with children in a safe and caring manner.
• Educate children through age-appropriate activities, fostering their social, emotional, and intellectual development.
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks.
• Maintain cleanliness in play areas and assist with household tasks related to childcare, including laundry and tidying up.
• Plan and implement educational games, and outdoor activities to stimulate creativity.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress, behavior, and any concerns.
• Administer first aid when necessary and maintain a safe environment for children.

Requirements

• Proven experience in childcare or related fields such as daycare or preschool settings.
• Strong caregiving skills with the ability to connect with children of various ages.
• Knowledge of first aid practices is preferred; certification is a plus.
• Ability to cook healthy meals suitable for children.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness.
• Patience, creativity, and the ability to adapt activities based on children's needs and interests.
• Reliable transportation to travel between homes or activities as required.
