About the position
We are seeking a part-time caregiver who can provide support and assistance to a family with three children, including a 19-year-old son with disabilities. The role involves various caregiving tasks such as feeding, bathing, tutoring, and light housekeeping. The ideal candidate should be reliable, trustworthy, and physically capable of handling the needs of a child with a physical disability.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for three children, including a 19-year-old with disabilities.
- Assist with feeding, bathing, and toileting.
- Help with tutoring and homework for the younger children.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks and dishes.
- Drive the children to school and events as needed.
Requirements
- Must love children and be mature, reliable, trustworthy, and punctual.
- Physically strong to handle a person with physical disability.
- Open to a background check and possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must have legal work authorization.
- Possess a valid driver's license and have access to a car.
- Must be over 18 years old.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in tutoring or babysitting/caregiving (1 year preferred).
Benefits
- Annual bonus based on performance and number of hours worked, up to $4500.
