About the position

The Nanny/Sitter position at ComForCare Home Care involves providing direct observation and childcare to clients' families in their homes. The role requires establishing and maintaining schedules for the children, which includes preparing and sanitizing bottles, feeding, bathing, dressing, changing, and taking children on outings. Engaging in regular stimulation and educational activities is also a key part of the job. The ideal candidate will be reliable and trustworthy, ensuring the safety and well-being of the children in their care. In addition to childcare duties, the Nanny/Sitter will be responsible for organizing creative and educational activities tailored to the children's age, preparing meals, and tidying up play areas and children's rooms. Light housekeeping and laundry tasks may also be required. ComForCare emphasizes the importance of safety, providing COVID-19 training and personal protective equipment (PPE) to all employees. Responsibilities

  • Provide direct observation and childcare to clients' families in their homes.

  • Organize creative and educational activities based on children's ages.

Requirements

  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Minimum of High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Completely proficient in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
  • Valid driver's license, safe driving record, and reliable/insured vehicle.
  • Childcare experience (1 year) with infants and toddlers, including care for multiple children.
  • CPR and First Aid certified.
